Doujin Update | Has Been A While

January 13, 2009 at 9:50 pm (Uncategorized)

Righty, first off the bat are my many and profuse apologies for not updating this piece of monkey poop for a while. Not alot has been happening and I thought that it’d be a waste of time to write about… well… nothing!

So anway, I got my Royal Navy aptitude test on Thursday the 15th. Basic skills in english, grammar, numeracy, and engineering concepts will be tested, but in all honesty I’m not too worried about it. Just gotta relax.
I have a history of screwing up exams where I should ace them ^^; But I put that down to stress and worry.
Plan is: Head for Exeter at 8am. Park up and head to a cafe or something, then have me a good cuppa tea and watch the world go by for an hour and a bit. Then head to the Navy Office for the exam and eye test to commence at 9:30am. Oh joy.

Right then, onto a doujin update. I’ve taken off the 32 page cap, since I have no idea how many pages it will take to finish it. IF i finish it ;_;…..
I’m 5 pages in, not including the front cover (which I love. Might post it soon) and already I think it may be moving too fast. Already we’ve been introduced to Ariel [protagonist], the building, and her first major symptoms from her ordeal.

And its taken more than a month to get here.

Thats worrying. Mind you, most of December was taken up with jobhunt and festive festivities, so with a bit of discipline I might be able to get the first segment of this bloody little story sketched out ready for inking in a month or two. Then to ink it, and shade/tone it.

Oh joy.

    Good luck on the test!

Ah.. take as much time as you need! As a fan of your works and a fellow artist, It’s best if you’re happy with your work.. and rushing it won’t help that, right?
