Fortunately, not every girl is like that... but I think there are several people, not only girls, that just like to be "the victim", "the martyr" and like to engage in relationships where they know they'lll suffer, so other people feel pity. There are several cases of domestic violence that is just like that... the husband keeps beating the wife, but the wife never do anything about it, even when there's nothing keeping the wife from ending the relationship.
