Just testing…With a Review

Since I’m new to blogging and sharing my thoughts, I decided to put up some photos and review butof my brother (Jason) and his recent cagefight victory versus Toby Hartman of Exmouth.
Wasnt the most exciting of bouts and was short lived. Still bloody exciting though.
Toby came from a wrestling background and Jason was still finding his niche, but preferred the stand-up fights. However, before the fight, he’d told me he wants to use his wrestling and ground skills instead of his far more comfortable position of striking.

Toby came in quickly with a jab cross kick combo, and went for a two leg takedown, while Jason managed to brace against the cage and catch Toby in a guillotine headlock, Toby had lost the momentum and was stuck. While he landed some light strikes during the grapple, Jason took the fall and was on bottom position. He worked his way to attempt a kimura lock, look at little too relaxed for this brother’s liking.
Breaking free of Jason’s infamously strong grip it was back to a standing fight, for all of about five seconds. Toby went in for a front kick, but as he was posting like a telegraph pole Jason caught his foot and threw him to the ground. Toby fell very easily (obviously more comfortable on the ground) and Jason hesitated, then lept onto the rising Toby’s back.
Once Jason had locked his legs around the midriff, it was only a matter of time. Attempts were made on both sides to break the stalemate, but none succeeded.
At four minutes into the first round, Toby dropped his guard, and Jason siezed his wrist. Oh dear. Implementing his unholy grip strength, his tried to prize off Toby’s arm from its safe position clinging to his own leg (very effective tactic to not let our arm get taken).

Jason took quick advice from his corner (and bellowed orders from me in the crowd) and rolled them both over onto their backs, still firmly welded to his opponents arm. This broke Toby’s grip, and use his strong ‘traps’ to finish the lock and force Toby to tap out.
Victory via armbar in 3 minutes 14 seconds.

Good Morning World

Well, my first post on my first blog. I’m practically a-quivering with excitement!

So, having recently graduated from Bicton College in Devon, I decided not to gor for another gap year (dont ask) but wanted to get stuck in, so all starry eyed and brimming with ill advised self confidence, I went a job hunting.

I’m still hunting. Oh my good god I’m still looking.

I know we’re supposed to be having some sort of recession, but honestly, if people stopped worrying about it (and someone hired me!)and were prepared to spend just a little more on their everyday lives, we’d be fine. Mind you I could be more wrong than Neville Chamberlain when he went to see Hitler. Still, we can only hope.
-Please hire me, I’ll be good and make tea and do my work!-

Since joining Danny Choo (which I do recommend you check out, even if its just a passing interest in anime/Japan) I have become a figure collector… When funds allow… Which isnt often. Damn.
So far, I have in me grubby mitts that are my possession, are the three Eva Units (00 blue, 01, and 02), the winged mass production Eva, and a new Nendoroid Haruhi, since mine got broked T.T

Oh well, when my camera has battery power, I shall unload unto you some piccies of me wanderings and activities. Some may involve other peeps, or my scribbley drawings, or the area I live in, or some other stuff. Could be quite interesting ^_^

…Dont hold your breath….
